Up for sale is a
vintage
first edition set of World Car books from 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984 & 1985
. They used to be published by the Automobile Club of Italy (and were published in the U.S. by Herald Publishing). These books were part of a private collection—unlike many sold on eBay that are either reprints or have been used & abused in public libraries. They have been in storage for quite a while.
They are in LIKE-NEW condition and the colors are still vibrant, but 2 of the books have small marks on the covers. The 1984 one has a small scratch and mark on the front cover (see pic #7), while the 1983 book has a compression mark on the upper left back cover (see pic #8). T
he 1980 one has a little bubbling on the front cover too (see pic #9), but the graphic is unaffected. The interior pages of all the books are in excellent and like-new condition. Feel free to make a reasonable offer too!
I don't believe any of the books ever came with dust jackets--otherwise they would still be on them. You'll see that the 1982 book also still has an original insert that it came with (see pic #11).
