    Description

This is a superior vintage Navajo copper with Gold fill whirling log bracelet. The fold fill is mostly rubbed off on the front but you can still see it all around the pin. This piece was made in the early 1900s before the 1940's And it features a striking Whirling log symbol in the center.. This dates it to before 1935 when artists no longer made those symbols.
The front is a nice thick band with intricate hand stamping on the shanks of arrows and symmetrical shapes . When the war started, artists were asked to stop making the design because it resembled a German symbol from world war 2 too much. Despite its resemblance to that swastika symbol the whirling log originally was a symbol of good luck prosperity and the renewable cycles of life a very positive energy symbol.
There is some patina on it especially. This is gold fill over copper but i have not polished it so as not to disturb the gold coating any further.
