Tardis door covering prototype

Full-Sized Dr. Who Tardis Door/Frame! This Tardis door and frame prototype is a closely-scaled replica of the original design! CNC milled, and then hand-finished, this door will be the perfect addition or present for your favorite Whovian's collection! The door comes with: hinges (and can be made to swing in or out); handle; door sign made on thick (quality) paper stock; and touch-up paint. This door should fit most 30-32" doorways, and removing the casing before installing is recommended. Your existing door may not need to be removed, but the (old) handle may interfere with proper closing of the "Tardis". *This is the prototype made from MDF, as seen in the pictures. This is the first one made, and while really cool, is not perfect (although we are trim carpenters, so we are extra picky- should be fine for most people :) ). Back of door has not been painted. This is discounted to 50% off because of the prototype nature, and we want to make room in our shop! The door and frame come broken down for shipping (3 pcs frame, 2 doors). We just recently got our hands on the correct BBC-approved Pantone color formulation (not in these pics, extremely hard to come by), so we'll be using that! Overall dimensions 1 1/2" thick, 40" wide, 94.5" to top of "light". Door opening size is either 30"x79", or 29" by 79"- your choice (the 29" door should be used for a 30" frame opening inward, so the doors don't bind up on the side "stops". If you have doubts, measure the narrowest part of your door frame, and contact us. We can make this design for other door sizes (but scaling may be off a little depending on size), or make you just the door and top (using your own frame), or anything else up to a full-sized exact replica of a Tardis! We are also a custom CNC millwork shop, so are able to do CAD designs and carving of just about any custom item you can imagine- just ask us!
